Cover
Cover the wound with a dressing or bandage. A moist wound may be covered directly, but a dry wound may need additional moisture (such as saline-moistened gauze, wound gel, or cleanser).
Change
Change dressings daily, or as instructed by your healthcare professional.

Do not use SANTYL Ointment if you’re allergic or sensitive to collagenase or any other ingredient in this product.
Never use SANTYL Ointment in or around your eyes, mouth, or any unprotected orifice.
Make sure to apply the ointment only to the wound. Take care not to extend beyond the wound surface. Slight redness may occur if the ointment is placed outside the wound area.
Avoid detergents or cleansing solutions that are acidic or basic in nature. Raising or lowering the ointment’s pH can lower the effectiveness.
Monitor the wound area for signs of infection. If you think the area may be infected, contact your healthcare professional.
Always use SANTYL Ointment as instructed by your healthcare professional and according to the instructions in the product packaging.
