How DURAMAX N Dressing works

Simple, effective1-3 and easy to apply and remove, DURAMAX N Dressing is formulated for use on moderate to highly exudating wounds. The five-layer structure draws exudate away from the wound area, which helps to reduce the risk of maceration and irritation while protecting the skin and minimising leakage.1,3

DURAMAX N Dressing is suitable for a wide range of wounds that include venous leg and arterial ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, first/second degree burns, post-op wounds and traumatic wounds.

Protective five-layer construction3

DURAMAX N Dressing gets the hard work done from the inside out, helping to support a more comfortable patient experience.1-3

The individual layers work together to absorb high levels of exudate1 and lock bacteria away within the dressing3. Fluid is distributed quickly and evenly into the superabsorbent polymer (SAP) layer, protecting the wound area and reducing the need for frequent dressing changes.1

FAQs

How does DURAMAX N Dressing work?

DURAMAX N 5-layer Dressing absorbs and transfers exudate away from the wound into the superabsorbent core layer. Once bacteria are within DURAMAX N Dressing, over 99% are locked within the dressing and away from the wound, whilst providing a moist environment that supports the body's own wound healing. The breathable outer layer acts as a fluid repellent keeping the surface dry.1-3
