Het PROSHIELD Skincare-assortiment is speciaal samengesteld om te worden gebruikt als onderdeel van een huidzorgprotocol tegen vochtgerelateerde huidbeschadiging, zoals incontinentiedermatitis (IAD, incontinence-associated dermatitis) en decubitus, bij zowel de intacte als beschadigde huid.1-5

Volgens best-practice-richtlijnen is het raadzaam om reinigingsmiddelen met een beschermende barrière te gebruiken ter preventie van, en bescherming tegen, afbraak van de huid.6
